 Chris began his career in Nursing, spending time in sexual health and then psychology. He went on to become an Accredited (BABCP) Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Accredited EMDR Practitioner, and CBT Supervisor. 
 
 Chris has been working in mental health for 18 years and in psychological therapies for 13 years. He trained at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at Kings College London, the Anna Freud Centre, and the University of Essex. 
 
 Chris currently works as a Clinical Lead for one of the largest NHS Talking Therapies providers in the country and has held clinical leadership roles in NHS Talking Therapies for many years. He is also a visiting lecturer on a psychotherapy master’s course and has lectured at a number of universities across the UK on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Additionally, Chris trains psychotherapists nationally on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
 
 Chris is an experienced Accredited EMDR Psychotherapist, providing therapy in the NHS for complex PTSD and individuals who have experienced prolonged trauma. He also specialises in psychosexual trauma and trauma stemming from childhood experiences.
 
 Chris is a Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist (DIT) trained at the Anna Freud Centre in London. DIT is a psychodynamic and psychoanalytical approach aimed at helping individuals identify and address recurring patterns in relationships. 
 
Chris is an Accredited CBT Therapist, experienced in delivering therapy to both children and adults. He also supervises and trains CBT therapists.
